Code Fizz is going to be a web application for coding/web tutorials and resources, as well as a community for other tech bloggers and developers. My hope is that eventually I will be able to create a mobile application for iOS and Android as well, though that will likely be in the far distant future.
Branding & Mood Board
As with most of my projects, I like to start with a little branding exercise where I create a simple logo, choose the fonts I'll be using, and create a mood board with the colors and overall feel of the new project.
This mood board was created using Canva for simplicity.
Typography
The fonts that I have chosen for this project are Corben, Arima Madurai, and Source Sans Pro, all of which are available via Google Fonts.
Color Scheme
I chose bright, bold colors and tried to keep the overall design gender neutral. I've noticed that some tech companies and applications are overwhelmingly masculine, so I did my best to stay away from that.
I also tried to make the overall concept clean and fun/quirky without being too over-the-top or childish.
